AP ICET 2021 Eligibility, Qualification, Age Limit, Qualifying Marks

AP ICET 2021 Eligibility shall be prescribed by the government of AP for candidates seeking admission into various universities situated in Andhra Pradesh. The candidates must fit into the eligibility conditions to apply for the examination. AP Integrated Common Entrance Test, a state-level entrance exam shall be administered by Sri Venkateswara University on behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad to provide admission in MBA and MCA courses at various professional universities and colleges established in AP. AP ICET Eligibility 2021

In this section, detailed information related to the eligibility criteria to apply for AP ICET 2021 application form is specified:

Nationality

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • The candidates other than Indian nationals must abide by the university’s rules.

Domicile

  • The candidates must satisfy the local or non-local status requirements imposed by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.
  • Candidates seeking admission to the respective university must abide by the rules laid down by them.

Age Limits

  • There is no age restriction for this entrance examination.

Qualification Criteria

For MCA

  • Candidate must have a 3-year Bachelor Degree in any stream from a sanctioned university or equivalent degree in 10+2+3 pattern approved by UGC.
  • Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories.
  • The 10+2 qualifying exam must include Mathematics subject.
  • Final year candidates can also apply.

For MBA

  • Candidate must have cleared 3-year Bachelor Degree from any sanctioned university.
  • Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories.
  • Final year candidates can also apply.

Other Criteria

Other requirements that must be satisfied by the applying candidates are as follows:

  • Candidates who have cleared all the papers of the 3-year degree in a single sitting cannot apply.
  • The qualifying degree earned by distance mode must be acknowledged by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
  • Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree without completing their 10th, 12th and three years of bachelor degree cannot apply.
  • If an applying candidate is found to be ineligible in the later stages of the admission process, then the candidature shall be revoked.
  • The candidates shall not be granted admission with qualifying in the AP ICET examination alone; the candidate must also appear for the counselling process.

AP ICET Qualifying Marks

  • Candidates must secure 25% marks, i.e. 50 marks out of 200 marks. The candidates pertaining to scheduled caste or scheduled tribe don’t need any minimum marks to be obtained in the examination.

AP ICET 2021 Application Form

AP ICET 2021 Application form can be obtained via online mode. Candidates can begin the application form filling process from last week of February 2021. Only eligible candidates can access the application form. Hence, candidates must check the eligibility norms before filling the AP ICET application form. Eligible candidates must remit the application fee before the deadline of submission.

The deadline designated by the university to submit the application form without late fee is in the last week of March 2021. The application form shall be accepted only from eligible candidates. After the form submission is over, candidates have to submit the application fee. Payment of application fee can be made by online and offline mode. Candidates shall be made to submit the application form category-wise.
