Assam CEE 2021: Assam CEE is conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for courses in engineering programmes. Assam Common Entrance Examination being a state-level examination is conducted annually. Assam CEE marks are considered for admission under various institutions in Assam. Candidates are advised to read information about Assam CEE 2021 Application Form:

• The application form will be available via online mode from the first week of March 2021.
• Candidates are required to fill in essential details regarding educational criteria, personal, address, etc.
• Passport size photograph & signature in JPG or JPEG file format.
• The deadline for completing the application form is till last week of March 2021.
• No candidates are requested to send any documents to the office.
• Candidates must take a printout of application form for further references.

Application Fee

• All candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 650.
• The candidates can make payment through SBI Bank Collect using debit card/ credit card or net banking.
• The application fee is non-refundable.

Assam CEE 2021 Eligibility

Before applying for Assam CEE 2021 candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria.

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen to be eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: Age limit should be between 17 to 21 years as on 1st August 2021.
• Residential Eligibility: Must have a residential certificate of Assam state.
• Qualifications: Must have passed 10th and 12th or its equivalent without any grace marks from any recognized board or university.
• Marks Criteria: Must secure minimum of 50% for general category (45% marks for reserved category candidates)
• Subjects: Must pass with chemistry, physics, mathematics and English subjects.
• Physical Fitness: Should be mentally and physically fit to be eligible.

Assam CEE 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates must go through Assam CEE 2021 exam:

• Mode of Examination: Examination will be conducted offline.
• Type of Question: Multiple choice questions format.
• Total Questions: Total of 120 questions will be asked.
• Language: Question paper will be both in English and Assamese language.
• Time Duration: Exam will be for 3 hours.
• Marking Scheme: Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Assam CEE 2021 Syllabus

Assam CEE syllabus will have physics, chemistry and mathematics sections based on class 11th & 12th level.
Few topics for the Assam CEE exam 2021 is:

• Chemistry: Includes topics such as some basic concept of chemistry, atomic structure, solutions, state of matters, the chemistry of heavy metals, redox reactions and electrochemistry, classifications of organic compound etc.
• Mathematics: Includes topics like binomial theorem and its applications, arithmetic-geometric series, complex numbers, heights and distance, sets, integral calculus, polynomial, law of motion projectile etc.
• Physics: Based on topics like energy and power, waves, electromagnetic waves, transference of heats, current electricity, laws of motion, oscillation, electron and photon, unit and measurement etc.

Assam CEE 2021 Admit Card

Assam CEE admit card can be downloaded via online from the second week of April 2021 by logging in their user ID & password. Admit card is an important document without which the candidates won’t be allowed to attend the examination. Candidates should also bring one photo ID proof in addition to admit card.

Assam CEE 2021 Answer Key

Assam CEE answer key will be made available via online a few days after the examination is over. Candidates can check the answers from the answer key. Candidates can assess their marks with the help of the answer key. They are also advised to take a print out for further use.

Assam CEE 2021 Result

Assam CEE result will be available from the second week of May 2021 by the committee. Candidates can login with their credentials to check the results via online. A merit list will be prepared based on the Assam CEE result by the committee. The total marks obtained in the exam and the rank scored will be published in the result. Candidates must take a printout of the result.

Assam CEE 2021 Cut Off

Assam CEE 2021 cut off will be published online once the results are out. It will contain the minimum marks to be scored by a candidate to be qualified. Candidates will be called for the counselling according to the Assam CEE cut off list. By logging in candidates can check their cut off.

Assam CEE 2021 Counselling

Assam CEE counselling will commence from the second week of June 2021. It will be conducted by the authorities of the State level committee. The seats will be allotted to the candidates after Assam CEE counselling. Candidates should bring original documents for the process of verification.
