BITSAT 2021 Application Form
Candidates can go through the following details regarding the BITSAT Application Form process:
- Candidates need to make online submission of their application between the third weeks of December 2020 to the second week of March 2021.
- Application correction facility shall be open between 2nd to 3rd weeks of March 2021.
- Along with application form, candidates need to upload requisite photograph and candidate’s signature in prescribed format and size.
- All candidates are requested to provide valid and functional e-mail ID and contact numbers in their application form.
- For international students, the same application process holds good.

BITSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

B.Pharma Course
- Candidate should have passed class 12th examination from a recognised board or university.
- The minimum aggregate score needed is 75%, and the minimum requirement in each subject is 60%.
- Candidate should have studies Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics with high proficiency in the English language.
First year degree courses other than B.Pharma
- Candidate should have cleared intermediate exam to apply for BITSAT exam.
- The minimum aggregate score needed is 75%, and the minimum requirement in each subject is 60%.
- Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with good proficiency in the English language.
- Candidates attempting their final year exams can also take up BITSAT.
BITSAT 2021 Exam Pattern

- BITSAT is an online computer-based test consisting of 150 MCQs.
- The question paper shall be published in English language and divided into four parts.
- Total time duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- Every correct answer is awarded 3 marks, and a negative marking of 1 mark is applicable for wrong answers.

BITSAT 2021 Syllabus
For BITSAT, candidates need to study Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics, English language and logical reasoning. The brief syllabus indicating the important topics to be covered under each subject is given below:
- Physics – Important topics are units and measurements, motion mechanics of solids, heat and thermodynamics, etc
- Chemistry – Important topics are atomic structure, matter and different states, physical and chemical equilibrium, organic chemistry, hydrocarbons etc.
- Maths – Important topics are Algebra, trigonometry, 3-D geometry, calculus, linear programming etc.
- English – Importance needs to be given to vocabulary, grammar, composition and essays, comprehension, analogies etc.

BITSAT 2021 Slot Booking
Soon after the application process, the slot booking will be open in the online mode. Booking window shall remain open from 4th week of March to the first week of April 2021. Using the booking link provided on the website, candidates need to choose their preferred date and time. To book exam slots, please keep these things ready – application number, date of birth, e-mail ID, contact details and others.
BITSAT 2021 Admit Card
Using the following details, candidates can download their admit cards – mail ID, the application number, username and password. Hall ticket publication in the online mode on the website shall be made after the second week of April 2021. The admit card, along with valid ID proof, should be compulsorily carried to the exam hall without fail. The admit card contains all necessary information like name, roll number, exam date, timings, centre etc.
BITSAT 2021 Result
Using candidate login credentials results can be checked in the online mode. By last week of May 2021, results could be expected. Result scores are provided to candidates in the form of the number of correct answers and the total number of incorrect answers.
BITSAT 2021 Cut Off
Every BITS institution shall declare its own BITS cut off marks. According to the candidate’s category and opted stream, counselling process shall be determined. Candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks to become eligible for the admission process. BITSAT 2021 Admission Process
The BITSAT admission procedure shall take place in two rounds. Admission will take place between the first weeks of May to the third week of June 2021. Two merit lists will be prepared, one for all programs except B.Pharma and the other list exclusively for B.Pharma. Two other lists shall be released in the online mode:
- Admit list – Includes all those candidates’ names that have secured cut off marks and are selected for the counselling process.
- Wait list – Selected candidates’ list to be called in the order for counselling.
