[Updated*] CET Delhi 2021 Syllabus, Delhi Polytechnic Syllabus

CET Delhi 2021 Syllabus will contain questions based on the class 10th or class 12th level standard CBSE board. The CET entrance examination will be conducted for four tests. The exam pattern and the syllabus for each examination vary accordingly. Candidates attending the CET Delhi examination for the academic year 2021 can go through the syllabus provided in this article. CET Delhi examination is also popularly called Delhi Polytechnic entrance examination organized every year to offer admissions into engineering courses, non-engineering and other diploma courses. The complete details regarding the syllabus of CET Delhi are given in this article.

CET Delhi 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for CET Delhi as per five tests are given below. Candidates can check the syllabus before attending the examination. The admit card for CET Delhi 2021 will be published in September 2021. Applicants will be able to download the admit card via online through the official website. CET Delhi Hall Ticket is a must document to be carried, the officials will not provide duplicate hall ticket after the entrance exam.

Test 1 Syllabus

CET Delhi Test-1 examination is conducted for students offering admissions in engineering and non-engineering diploma courses after their 10th board examination. Subjects and number of questions asked: The entrance examination will consist of questions from subjects Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (30 questions), Mathematics (50 questions), Biology (15 questions) and English (15 questions). The exam paper will be based on the CBSE syllabus of Class 9th and Class 10th topics.

Test 2 Syllabus

The Test-2 is for aspiring candidates who wish to get admission in diploma courses in Modern Office Practice. The examination is also conducted for students for admissions to in one-year certificate courses in Hospitality Operations, Retail Services & Finance Executive. Subjects and number of questions asked: The examination will cover topics from subjects English Comprehension including Grammar (60 questions) of class 12th level, Current Affairs (45 questions) and Logical & Analytical Ability (45 questions)

Test 3 Syllabus

The Test-3 examination is for candidates seeking admissions in diploma courses in Pharmacy. The total number of questions that will be asked in the test is about 210 questions, and the candidates are required to attend only 150 questions. Subjects and the respective number of questions are: The entrance examination will contain questions from subjects such as Physics (45 questions), Chemistry (45 questions), Mathematics (60 questions) and Biology (60 questions). The two compulsory subjects in the examination are Physics and Chemistry. The candidates have a choice opting between Biology & Mathematics subjects. The tests will be based on the syllabus of 11th & 12th class syllabus CBSE Board.

Test 4 Syllabus

The Test 4 examination is for candidates seeking admission via lateral entry into analogous diploma courses. ITI/ 10+2 (Vocational Stream) pass outs are eligible to appear for the entrance exam. Subjects and the number of questions asked: The question paper will contain questions from subjects such as Physics (60 questions), Chemistry (30 questions) & Mathematics (60 questions) subjects. Students are advised to study from the 10th, 11th & 12th class syllabus of CBSE board to score better in the examination.

CET Delhi 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates can go through the exam pattern of CET Delhi 2021 from below:

  • Examination Mode: The entrance examination will be held via offline mode (pen or paper-based).
  • Type of Question: The type of questions asked in the examination will be MCQ type.
  • Time Duration: The exam will be conducted for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Total Number of Questions: The question paper will contain a total of 150 questions. In the case of pharmacy courses, about 210 questions will be asked in the test.
  • Marking Scheme: Four marks will be awarded for students per each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for every wrong response.
