CIPET JEE 2021: The full form of CIPET JEE is Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology Joint Entrance Examination. CIPET organizes a national level JEE every year to offer admissions into various PG diploma courses. Successfully selected candidates can seek admission into various courses such as plastic processing and testing, plastic mould with CAD/Cam, Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology (DPMT), etc. This article provides complete information about CIPET JEE 2021 that includes exam date, registration process, exam pattern, eligibility criteria, syllabus and more.

CIPET JEE 2021 Exam Dates

Let us first look at the important timeline of events and corresponding dates tabulated below:

CIPET JEE 2021 Application Form

CIPET JEE application process has been elaborated below:

  • From the third week of April 2021, candidates can fill up the CIPET JEE application form in the online mode.
  • Candidates have to fill up information in various sections such as educational section, personal details section, communication section and other necessary details.
  • Candidates need to upload photograph and signature in prescribed JPEG/ JPG format.
  • Deadline for submitting applications is the first week of July 2021.
  • Candidates have to submit correct entries in the very first attempt; no application correction window is provided later.
  • Candidates are advised to take a print out of the submitted form for future references.

Application Fee

  • Fees can be paid in both online and offline modes.
  • Online fee payment can be made through debit card, credit card and net banking process.
  • Offline fee payment to be carried out by drawing a Demand draft in favour of CIPET, payable at Bhubaneshwar.
  • Fees once paid are not refundable under any given circumstances.

CIPET JEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The course-wise eligibility criteria are described below in full detail:

  • For PGD-PPT: Candidates must have completed a 3-year degree course from Science stream with Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects. There are no age restrictions to apply.
  • For PD-PMD with CAD/CAM: Candidates must have passed 3-year diploma course mechanical/ plastic technology/ tool production/ automobile engineering/ mechatronics/ tool and die making. There are no age restrictions to apply.
  • For DPMT and DPT: Candidates must have passed class 10th from a recognised board. Candidates who are appearing for their class 10th exams in the current year are also eligible to apply. There are no age restrictions to apply.

CIPET JEE 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates must study the following exam pattern for good preparation:

  • Exam will be conducted in the online mode.
  • Totally 60 multiple choice questions shall be asked in the paper.
  • Exam duration is 1 hour, and paper would be set in English language only.

CIPET JEE 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for CIPET JEE purely depends on the course that the candidate is interested in pursuing later on. For all PG papers, candidates need to thoroughly study from their previous qualifying degree subjects. A comprehensive study of current affairs and general knowledge is highly recommended.

CIPET JEE 2021 Exam Centres

CIPET JEE 2021 Admit Card

In the first week of July 2021, candidates can expect their admit card and download them from the website. Candidates need to enter their user ID and password to obtain admit card in the online mode. After downloading check for correctness of all data on the card. For any discrepancy, sort it out before exam commencement. Along with the admit card, carry a valid ID card to the exam hall without fail.

CIPET JEE 2021 Result

Around the fourth week of July 2021, results can be expected to be published in the online mode. All candidates who attempted the entrance exam can check their results by entering their registration number. Results would be provided in PDF format. No other means/ modes of result communication with the candidates shall be undertaken. Based on the results and performance of candidates, they would be further shortlisted for the counselling round.

CIPET JEE 2021 Counselling

Soon after the result announcement, candidates can look forward to the counselling round. Different rounds in counselling include seat allotment, checking seat availability, document verification etc. For attending counselling round, allotment letter should be carried by every candidate to the premises. Candidates need to individually report in person to the counselling venue. They are advised to bring originals and copies of certificates without fail:

  • 10th and 12th class mark sheets and certificates.
  • Allotment letter
  • CIPET JEE 2021 admit card and result card.
  • Caste certificate
  • Medical certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Passport-sized photos.
