CMAT 2021 Eligibility must be verified by the candidates applying for the exam. Only suitable candidates meeting the eligibility norms can attend the exam by completing the application form process. The NTA is the main exam conducting authority that administers the CMAT exam. The candidates must fit into NTA’s eligibility requirements to be eligible to attempt the exam. The application forms of those candidates who don’t meet the eligibility conditions shall be rejected. CMAT 2021 Eligibility
The candidate must satisfy the eligibility norms to be eligible for the CMAT 2021 examinations as the candidate cannot proceed for admission if the eligibility conditions are not fulfilled. The candidate must meet the eligibility norms associated with nationality, Academic qualifications and age criteria. The candidate must verify the eligibility criteria of the three subjects proposed through the CMAT examinations as all the 3 have different conditions.
Nationality
- The candidate applying for the entrance exam must be an Indian citizen.
Academic Qualifications
- The duration of the bachelor’s degree must be at least three years.
- The candidate holding bachelor’s degree must have scored at least 50% aggregate and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates pursuing the final year of bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for CMAT exams provided they finish their bachelor’s program with the requisite marks needed for admission.
Age Criteria
- There is no age restriction for applying into CMAT 2021 examination.
Subject Specific Eligibility Norms
Subject requirements for getting admission in the following courses are disclosed below:
MBA/PGDM
- The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree sanctioned by state/central government.
- The duration of the bachelor’s degree must be at least three years.
- The candidate holding bachelor’s degree must have scored at least 50% aggregate and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
Executive PGDM
- The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree sanctioned by state/central government.
- The duration of the bachelor’s degree must be at least three years.
- The candidate must hold a work experience of at least five years.
- The candidate holding bachelor’s degree must have scored at least 50% aggregate and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
PGCM
- The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree sanctioned by state/central government.
- The duration of the bachelor’s degree must be at least three years.
- The candidate holding bachelor’s degree must have scored at least 50% aggregate and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
CMAT 2021 Registration
CMAT 2021 registration already commenced from 23rd December 2020. Candidates are expected to fill the application form via online mode. The Deadline to submit the application form is 30th January 2021. Since 2020, NTA (National Testing Agency) started directing the CMAT exam. CMAT exam is organised to provide admission in PGDM, MBA and similar, PGCM and Executive PGDM programmes. The candidates are supposed to look into the CMAT entrance exams’ eligibility norms before moving to application form process. If the applying candidate is found to be unfit during the admission process, then the candidature shall be revoked immediately.
