Our parents and teachers give us the necessary ways to cultivate our personality. But we are the ones who have to put in the effort to better ourselves every day.

Paragraph on Good Manners in 100 Words

Good manners are something every person should be instilled with right from their childhood. It is the most critical aspect of one’s character. In a way, manners form the very foundation of one’s personality. Every parent must help their children learn good manners. Without good manners, day-to-day interactions with friends and family become rough, which might result in immense dislike towards us. The practice of good manners starts at home.

Parents teach their children to regularly brush their teeth, maintain good hygiene, and wish people good morning and good night after waking up and before going to bed. Saying thank you and sorry is also a big part of having good manners. Thank you, sorry, and please are known as the three magical words. Teachers must always be greeted when they walk into a classroom. Being respectful and polite to classmates is an essential part of having manners. Having good manners is extremely important. If we don’t have good manners and don’t respect people, we won’t be appreciated by anyone.

Paragraph on Good Manners – 250 Words

Good manners are traits all people should possess. Without good manners, it is impossible to function in any life walk. Good manners portray our character to the outside world. A person should be aware of how they’re behaving around others at all times. Good manners are instilled upon us from our childhood. The environment in which a child grows influences his ways. Parents inculcate the foundation of manners in their children.

Being polite, saying sorry after making a mistake fall under good manners. Showing gratitude by saying thank you and saying excuse me while interrupting someone are essential parts of portraying good manners. Maintaining hygiene and holding doors open for others to help our elders come naturally. Wishing someone good morning and good night after waking up and before going to bed should be custom.

Schools also teach good manners. Greeting someone when meeting them for the first time, wishing teachers when they walk into the classroom and having a kind and helpful nature around classmates help to be in their good books. Being attentive during lessons show that attention is being paid to the teacher. Selecting the appropriate clothes to wear for certain occasions shows how well adjusted we are with society.

Engaging in conversation with every person around us is also essential in maintaining proper relationships. Being respectful in our daily lives is crucial for surviving in our society. If we don’t respect the people around us, we, in turn, won’t be recognised. Having good manners is a way of being healthy. Good manners form the pillar of success, and we can reach great heights by being polished and respectful in our day to day lives.
