ICAR AIEEA 2021 Application Form
Candidates must read through the following instructions before filling up the application form:
- The official application form for ICAR AIEEA shall be available in the online mode.
- Candidates can send their applications between 1st week of March 2021 till last week of March 2021.
- The system also allows for application corrections for a limited period of time.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility norms are very important for every candidate to know. Candidates should check these conditions before proceeding with application form entry. Check them here:
For UG Courses
- Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognised board or university.
- General category candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks, and SC/ST candidates should score a minimum of 40% in the qualifying exam.
- Minimum age criteria are 16 years as on 31st August 2021.
- Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam this year shall also be eligible for ICAR AIEEA exam.
For PG Courses
- Candidates who have studied in the pattern of 10+2+5 years [Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry courses] or 10+2+4 years or 10+6 years or 10+2+3 years are eligible to apply.
- The minimum grade points required are mentioned category wise here:
- For General Merit: 6.0/10 OR 3.25/5 OR 2.60/4 grade points.
- For SC/ST/PC categories – 5.60/10 OR 2.75/5 OR 2.20/4 grade points.
- Minimum age criteria are 19 years as on 31st August 2021.
- Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam this year shall also be eligible for ICAR AIEEA exam.
ICAR AIEEA 2021 Exam Pattern
The detailed exam patterns for both UG and PG courses are given below:
For UG Courses
- Exam shall be conducted in the offline mode.
- In the qualifying exam, candidates must have studied PCB or Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Total of 180 MCQs shall be asked.
- Maximum marks for the exam paper is 720 and questions will appear in both English and Hindi languages.
- Each correct answer fetches 4 marks, and 1 mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer.
For PG Courses
- Exam shall be conducted in the offline mode.
- Total of 160 MCQs shall be asked in the question paper.
- Question paper shall be set for 650 marks.
- Each correct answer fetches 4 marks and 1 mark shall be awarded for cross-matching type of questions.
ICAR AIEEA 2021 Syllabus
The brief syllabus for ICAR AIEEA preparation is given below. Candidates have to study in depth from all the subjects to score well in the exams.
Topics under UG course – Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Maths and Agriculture.
Topics under PG course – Plant Biology, Physical science and Agronomy.
For UG Course
- Physics – Important areas to be covered are laws of motion, physical world and measurement, work, energy, power, gravitation, kinematics, gravitation, oscillation and waves etc.
- Chemistry – Important areas to be covered are atomic structure, solid-state, thermodynamics, equilibrium, chemical bonding, molecular structure, p-block elements etc.
- Biology(Botany and Zoology) – Important areas to be covered are living world, life diversity, multicellularity, animal life, biology application, origin of life, evolution etc
- Maths – Important areas to be covered are sets, functions, algebra, coordinate geometry, statistics, probability etc
- Agriculture – Important areas to be covered are genetics, crop production, breeding, horticulture, microbiology, livestock etc.
For PG Courses
- Biotechnology – Important areas to be covered are photosynthesis, genetic engineering, metabolic function of carbohydrates, proteins, engineering dry matter, etc

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Preparation Tips
Candidates must be well versed with these useful tips for a strategic preparation process:
- It is very important to make brief and understandable short notes under each topic of study for revision.
- Stick to the syllabus prescribed for the exam and study according to the exam pattern provided.
- Attempt mock tests and previous year question papers to understand the variety of questions.
- Study from recommended books and gain expert knowledge on various topics to cover many topics from exam point of view.
- It is important to analyze and understand every topic in-depth, so begin with early preparation.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Admit Card
Admit card for ICAR AIEEA shall be available in the online mode for downloading. In the last week of April 2021, candidates can download their admit cards by entering valid registration number and password. Admit cards are a mandatory document, and every student must carry it to the exam hall without fail. Along with admit card, candidates also need to carry a valid ID proof like Aadhaar card, driving license etc.
ICAR AIEEA 2021 Result
Results would be published in the online mode, and candidates can get their merit cards by entering their registration number and password. Results would be announced around the first week of June 2021. The overall ranking of the candidate shall also be indicated in the result. In case of a tie between students scoring the same marks, higher age student shall be given more priority. Print out of merit card needs to be taken for counselling and further admission process.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Counselling
In the month of July 2021, the counselling process shall commence for candidates whose names appear in the merit list. One-time non-refundable counselling fee of INR 2000 should be remitted by every candidate before the counselling process. If a candidate fails to secure a seat during the admission process, the fee shall be refunded to the candidate. Counselling session shall be conducted in the online mode, and candidates have to choose and lock their preference of college and course. All qualified candidates must compulsorily participate in the counselling process, and admission shall be granted after the completion of entire counselling.
ICAR AIEEA 2021 Admission
All candidates who participate in the counselling shall be granted further admission into colleges. At first, candidates need to qualify for the counselling session and later remit the admission fee within the stipulated time period. Admission shall be guaranteed upon verification of documents and course fee submission. For purposes of verification and submission, the following list of documents should be kept ready by candidates:
