IPU CET 2021 Exam Pattern comprises question type, exam mode, section covered, marking scheme, etc. Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test known as IPU CET is a university level entrance exam administered to provide admission in engineering, law, computer applications, management courses etc. Candidates qualifying in the entrance exam can get admission into various UG, PG courses etc. This article aims to render detailed information related to the IPU CET Exam Pattern 2021 for various courses.

IPU CET 2021 Exam Pattern

It is mandatory for the admission seeking candidates to refer to the entrance exam pattern. The exam pattern shall be formulated by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The detailed information related to the GGSIPU Exam pattern 2021 for different courses is disclosed below:

  • The entrance examination shall be organised through computer-based online mode.
  • The exam duration to complete the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes and 3 hours for B.Tech Biotechnology programme.
  • The medium of the entrance exam paper is English, and for B.Ed programme, the medium of the exam paper is English and Hindi language.
  • The exam paper is fabricated with Objective type questions.
  • Four marks shall be awarded for every correct answer.
  • One mark is reduced for every incorrect answer. If a question is found to have more than one answer, then that question shall be considered as wrong.

IPU CET 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus of IPU CET 2021 drafted for each of the courses is distinct. The syllabus for UG programme entrance exam includes topics from 12th-grade subjects, and for PG programme, the syllabus for the entrance exam covers topics from graduation level subjects. The complete syllabus shall be made available on the website in the information brochure with which the candidates can prepare for the exam.

For B.Tech (Biotechnology):

The syllabus for B.Tech programme includes diverse topics from the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects (Botany and Zoology) of 12th level.

For MBA:

The syllabus for MBA programme includes diverse topics from English Language & Comprehension, General Awareness and Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, Data interpretation.
