JEE Advanced 2021 Application Form
The detailed application procedure for JEE Advanced 2021 are explained below:
- In the first week of May 2021, candidates can start filling up the online application form for JEE Advanced 2021.
- Candidates can send in applications till the second week of May 2021.
- Candidates are required to provide valid and working e-mail ID and contact numbers in the application form.
- All mandatory fields should be filled along with citing the exam centre preference.
- Forms that are incomplete or those that contain invalid/ misleading information shall be rejected without further notice.
- There shall be an application correction window for modifying submitted applications.
- Take a hard copy of the submitted form and preserve it for future references.

- Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates

Application Fee
- Fees can be remitted in both online and offline modes.

JEE Advanced 2021 Eligibility Criteria
All candidates must read and follow the detailed eligibility criteria given below:
- All Indians and OCI/PIO candidates can apply. Foreign nationals can also apply for JEE Advanced 2021.
- Candidates must have completed class 12th or should be completing class 12th in the year 2021 from a recognised university. Candidate should have compulsorily studied PCM subjects in their qualifying exam.
- Earlier, 75% in the qualifying exam was also a criterion, which has now been relaxed.
- Candidates who wish to appear for JEE advanced exam 2021 should have successfully completed JEE Mains exam 2021.
- All applicants should be born on or after 1st October 1996. For students belonging to reserved categories, a 5 year relaxation limit shall be allowed.
- In two consecutive years, a candidate can attempt JEE Advanced exam only twice.
- As a general rule for all categories, candidates must be ranked within the top 2,50,000 qualifying candidates in JEE Main 2021 exam to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2021 exam.
JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced 2021 Admit Card
Candidates can download JEE Admit card in the online mode from the third week of May 2021. Candidates have to enter their login details and password to be able to download their respective admits cards. Admit card is a mandatory document for the exam hall. It contains vital information like candidate name, roll number, exam date and timings, centre name and address and important instructions to follow. Carry a valid ID proof along with admit card to the exam venue without fail. The same admit card shall be used for the AAT exam as well.
JEE Advanced 2021 Answer Key
After JEE advanced exam 2021, the answer keys shall be released. Candidates can expect the publication of answer keys by last week of May 2021 in the online mode. JEE Advanced 2021 Result
In the first week of June 2021, candidates can expect JEE Advanced 2021 results to be announced. Candidates can obtain results by entering their respective date of birth and application number. Candidates can also obtain results on their registered e-mail ID and phone numbers. Category wise merit lists of all qualified candidates shall be published in the online mode.
JEE Advanced 2021 Cut off
Candidates who score the minimum cut off marks and above shall qualify further for the counselling session. Cut off marks depend on a host of parameter namely, a number of candidates attempting the exam mark scored in the exam, toughness level of the papers and so on. For the top 20 percentile, in particular, authorities shall publish candidate’s marks based on category. For PWD candidates, the cut off marks shall be the same as the lowest cut off scores of General, OBC-NCL, SC and ST categories. The JIC or Joint Implementation Committee shall decide the cut off scores for AAT exam.
JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority or JoSAA shall conduct the JEE Advanced Counselling session for the year 2021. All candidates shortlisted in the qualifying list should compulsorily attend the counselling process. Through JoSAA candidates get seat allotment in IITs, NIITs, Government funded technical institutes etc. Candidates have to carefully select the course as per their preference.
