MH CET Law 2021 Exam Pattern consists of no. of questions, duration, syllabus, marking scheme, exam mode, etc. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law called MH CET Law is a state-level entrance exam administered by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Mumbai. The MH CET Law entrance test score is considered by various law colleges and institutions. This entrance exam is also known as Maharashtra Law CET. Candidates qualifying in this exam can procure admission in the 3-year LL.B programme and 5-year Integrated-LL.B programme. All the essential details related to the MH CET Law Exam Pattern 2021 are furnished in this article.

MH CET Law 2021 Exam Pattern

The exam appearing candidates are advised to look into the exam pattern to prepare well for the exam. The complete exam pattern is disclosed below:

  • The entrance exam is planned to be handled in the last week of April 2021 for 5-years LLB programme and in the 1st week of June 2021 for 3 -year LLB programme.
  • The exam shall be supervised through online mode only, i.e. Computer Based Test.
  • The examination is expected to be conducted in multiple sessions.
  • The question paper is made of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ).
  • The question paper medium is available in English & Marathi language.
  • Negative marking is not present in this exam.
  • The time duration provided to solve the paper is 2 hours.
  • The question paper is set for 150 marks.

Exam Pattern for 3 Years of LL.B

The syllabus for 3-year LL.B programme exam covers topics from four subjects, namely, Legal Aptitude & Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge with current affairs, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, and English. Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning subject carry 40 marks, General Knowledge with current affairs subject carries 40 marks, Logical and Analytical Reasoning carry 30 marks, and English carries 50 marks. One mark is designated for every question. Candidates can start preparing these topics to score well.

Exam Pattern of 5 Years of LL.B

The syllabus for 3-year Integrated-LL.B programme covers topics from the following sections: Legal Aptitude & Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge with current affairs, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, English and Mathematics Aptitude. Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning section carry 40 marks, General Knowledge with Current Affairs section carries 30 marks, Logical and Analytical Reasoning section carry 40 marks, English section carries 30 marks, and Mathematics Aptitude section carries 10 marks. One mark is allocated for every question. Candidates can prepare these topics to score well in the exam.
