MH CET Law 2021 Syllabus will vary for 3 years and 5 years LLB courses. MH CET stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. It offers professional courses in Law. The examination is a state-level test conducted every year for students seeking admissions into 3 & 5 years of LLB course. The entrance examination is organized by the official authorities of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra. It is also commonly called as Maharashtra Law CET. Qualified candidates will get admissions in Law colleges and institutions in various law universities in Maharashtra. MH CET Law 2021 Syllabus

The officials for the Syllabus for the entrance exam will be formulated for candidates to check. Students must prepare notes and learn themselves as per the Syllabus prescribed by the authorities on the official website. The Syllabus for 3 year LLB courses and 5 year LLB will vary. Topics like Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge with Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning and English will be included in the Syllabus for both the degree courses. Mathematical Aptitude subject is a different subject which will be asked for 5 year LLB courses.

Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning

The questions will be asked from topics to test the candidate’s knowledge in the fields of Law, Legal aptitude and problem-solving ability. Questions will be prepared from the legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the given prepositions have to be provided. Students ability to evaluate a given scenario is assessed as they will have to draw a conclusion from the given prepositions.

General Knowledge with Current Affairs

This section’s questions will include topics on History (Ancient, Medieval and Modern), Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, and the Current Affairs of the past One Year. This section is exceptionally prepared to evaluate a student’s knowledge about the recent things and test the awareness of the things that are happening in the world.

Logical and Analytical Reasoning

This section is prepared to evaluate a candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It includes broad analogies, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, completing statements, applying principles or rules. Through this part, the candidate’s ability to understand the structure of the questions asked and draw the conclusion that is logical about the designs and interpret the relationship between them are analyzed. It includes reasoning deductively from the set of statements and rules or principles that describes the relationship among persons, things or events.

English

The English part consists of questions from the fields like Vocabulary (Synonyms, antonyms, analogies etc.) Proficiency (Idioms and Phrases, One-word Substitution, Sentence Improvement and rearrangement, fill in the blanks etc.) English Usage Errors (Common errors, Spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes etc.) and English Comprehension.

Mathematical Aptitude (for 5 years LLB only)

This section is an additional part for LLB course alone. It is prepared to evaluate a candidate’s interest and grasping power in Mathematics subject, including the numerical ability. This part will be primarily based on the 10th standard Syllabus. The questions will be asked from various topics like Profit and Loss, Speed and Distance, Time and Work, Algebra, Average, Venn Diagram etc.
