MU OET 2021: The full form of MU OET is Manipal University Online Entrance Test. The application form for MU OET is expected to be released in the current month of November. MU OET 2021 Application Form
- In November 2020, the MU OET application form is expected to be released officially.
- The registration process begins with form filling, uploading of documents and payment of fees.
- Upload signature and passport size photo in a prescribed format.
- Deadline to send completed applications is till the second week of March 2021.

Application Fee
- Application fees can be remitted in both online and offline modes.
- Online payment may be made through net banking/ credit cards/ debit cards.

MU OET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Different eligibility norms are prescribed for different courses, take a look:
For B.Tech Course
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 intermediate exam with minimum 50% marks from a recognised board.
- No age bar to apply.
- Candidates should have compulsorily studied Maths, Physics combination with any one of the optional subjects – Biology/ Biotechnology/ any vocational subject.
- Candidate should have secured 50% aggregate in Physics, Maths and any of the optional subjects.
For M.Tech Course
- Candidates must have passed B.Tech/ BE or AIME with minimum 50% aggregate score from a recognised university.
- No age bar to apply for M.Tech courses.
MU OET 2021 Exam Pattern
Candidates must read and follow the exam pattern prescribed for MU OET carefully:
- MU OET is conducted for two and a half hours duration in the online CBT mode.
- Total of 200 MCQs shall be asked in the paper.

MU OET 2021 Syllabus
The subject wise syllabus, in brief, is listed below:
- Physics – Laws of motion, work, energy, power, motion of particles, units and measurements, kinematics, thermodynamics, oscillations, bulk order, electro statistics and current electricity.
- Chemistry – Structure of an atom, periodic table properties, thermo dynamics, aldehyde and ketones, polymers, organic chemistry, chemical kinetics.
- Maths – algebra, sets, relations and functions, co-ordinate geometry, calculus and reasoning.
MU OET 2021 Preparation Tips

MU OET 2021 Admit Card
Soon after candidates book their exam slots online, authorities release the official admit card for download. Candidates can start booking slots from the fourth week of March 2021. In the process of slot booking, candidates should select exam date, day of exam and timings. Candidates need to carry the admit card along with a valid Photo ID document to the exam hall without fail.
MU OET 2021 Result
University shall announce MU OET results by the fourth week of May 2021. Candidates can obtain their corresponding results and rank cards in the online mode—login to the website using application number and password to obtain results. Results would be displayed course-wise. Save a hard copy of the rank card for future admission purposes.
MU OET 2021 Cut Off
Cut off scores are minimum qualifying marks to be obtained by candidates to proceed to further admission. Cut off marks are released in the online mode. Cut off scores depend on the number of candidates attempting the exam, toughness level of the paper; previous year cut off marks etc. Cut off lists are displayed based on the courses selected, category of student and the institute applied for.
MU OET 2021 Counselling
In the first week of June 2021, the counselling process is all set to begin for qualified candidates. Counselling is organised by Manipal University in the offline mode. All candidates interested to obtain admission for various courses should compulsorily attend the counselling process. Candidates with minimum cut off marks shortlisted for counselling round should pay requisite counselling fee and submit documents for verification.
