Essay on Narendra Modi: Narendra Damodardas Modi, the honourable Prime Minister of India, is a great politician. He was born on September 17th, 1950 at Gujarat. He served as Gujarat Chief Minister in 2001. He won the 2014 and 2019 General Assembly elections and swept into power from Bharatiya Janata Party. He has worked extremely well on the infrastructure and transportation sectors of the country. He has taken a very strong stance on Citizenship Amendment Bill and scrapping of Article 370.

Narendra Modi is a person who is known to be the first Prime Minister of India who proved that success has nothing to do with caste, class or from where an individual belongs. He envisions eight dreams for 21st century India and wants to free the nation from the clutches of corruption. His work and struggle is an excellent inspiration for the people, and his ideologies are regarded with belief and recognition.

Early Life and Education

The complete name is Narendra Damodardas Modi. He was born on 17th September 1950 in Vadnagar, Mehsana district in Gujarat to a lower-middle-class family of grocers. His father’s name was Mool Chand Modi, and his mother’s name is Hiraben. As a child, he was a mediocre student and a great speech-maker with an inquisitive mind. He had a keen interest in theatre. He completed his higher education in 1967 and obtained a master’s degree in Political Science from Gujarat University. He well balanced his non-academic and studies.

Despite all the obstacles that obstruct his way, he was successful in completing his studies and never gave up on his dreams. The most challenging phase of his life was when he to run a tea stall with his brother near a railway station in Ahmedabad which challenged his ability and perseverance. Furthermore, when he turned eight, he was introduced to RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). After completing his graduation, he became a full-time worker for RSS.

Political Ascent

Modi joined BJP in 1987 and entered into politics. Later, he was appointed as the General Secretary of the Gujarat unit within a year and soon was appointed as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for four consecutive years. Due to his, efforts, fame and style, he was declared one of the candidates by BJP in 2014 general elections. He won the election by receiving highest votes and was announced as India’s Prime Minister on 26th May 2014. His co-operation and connection with the world’s rulers have created a valuable place for India all across the globe.

As the Prime Minister of India, he has been a passionate, decisive, progressive and development-oriented leader who has given a ray of hope and aspirations to billions of Indians.He assured the citizens a corrupt-free nation and turning the under-performing economy into a better one in future.

Through his programme, he is conveying an urge to let girl child grow and educate so that later they glorify our country with progress.
