The complete name is Narendra Damodardas Modi. He was born on 17th September 1950 in Vadnagar, Mehsana district in Gujarat to a lower-middle-class family of grocers. His father’s name was Mool Chand Modi, and his mother’s name is Hiraben. As a child, he was a mediocre student and a great speech-maker with an inquisitive mind. He had a keen interest in theatre.
