OPSC Exam 2019 Eligibilities
To become eligible for the Odisha PSC 2019, the eligible candidates can check the following Eligibility Criteria issued by the Odisha Public Service Commission. - The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The age of eligible candidates should be between 21 years and should not exceed 32 years. Moreover, the candidates with the reserved category can get relaxation in their upper age.
- For SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribes, SEBC/ Women/ Ex-Service Man/ Women category, there will be an upper age relaxation of 5 years.
- For OBC (Other Backward Class) category, there will be an upper age relaxation of 3 years.
- The candidates coming into the physically handicapped category will get the upper age relaxation for 10 years.
- A candidate, who has more than one spouse/husband residing or in the case of a woman candidate, if married to a person having one wife living, will not considered be eligible for appearing in the OPSC examination, unless he provides that such marriage is permissible under the Personal Law applicable to such person or there are other grounds for doing so.
- All government Servants, whether temporary or permanent, are eligible to appear in the Examination, provided they should have the requisite qualification and are within the specified age limit as well.
- The candidates may have a Bachelor degree any other equivalent three-year degree from any recognized college or University.
- Candidates should have MBBS or equivalent Degree from Medical College Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India along with valid registration certificates under the Odisha Medical Registration Rules 1965 as well as required conservation certificates recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) if the candidates have their degree from University of Foreign Countries.
OPSC 2019 Application Form

OPSC Admit Card 2019

OPSC Exam Pattern
This civil service exam will have three rounds like other exams. The candidates have to participate in all three to get recruited in the Odisha PSC civil service exam.

The Prelim exam will be the initial round and will have two question papers of objective type. The Paper 1 will be of General Studies consisting of 200 marks and Paper 2: Optional Subject again will have 200 marks. Moreover, it will be a screening test only and the marks scored from this exam will not be added in the final ranking of the candidates.
The Main exam will be the second one and it will have a descriptive nature. There will be 9 papers for this exam.
Paper 1: Oriya Language (300 marks),

Paper 3: English Essay (200 marks),
Paper 4: General Studies-I (300 marks),
Paper 5: General Studies-II (300 marks), and Paper 6, 7, 8, and 9- It will of any two subjects that you would have selected from the list of optional subjects set.
Each subject will have two papers (300 marks for each paper). Kindly note that marks obtained in this exam will be added while assembling the total marks for a final result.
Personality Test/ Interview
This will be the last round of OPSC exam 2019. There will be a panel of interviewers to test candidates’ suitable for the job through the oral conversation. In this, the recruiters appointed by this commission will judge the candidates’ decision-making ability.
