Paragraph on Environment: The place where living (biotic) and non-living (abiotic) things reside together is known as the environment. The environment is where interaction between physical, chemical, and natural resources occurs. The natural environment begins from the Lithosphere in the earth’s atmosphere and continues until our surroundings. The air, the water, and even the sunlight we receive fall under the natural environment.
Paragraph on Environment – 100 Words
The living and the non-living together constitute the environment. Environment makes life possible on earth. It provides the means for existence. However, living beings do not appreciate the environment well enough. Environmental health is on a rapid decline. What started with using natural resources like wood, fossil fuels, water in a balanced manner has gotten so out of hand that natural resources are at the brink of vanishing forever.
Pollution caused by man is the most significant reason for the environment’s degradation. Water, land, soil, and noise pollution are toxic to the environment. Throwing out garbage here and there, washing clothes and dishes in the pond and river water using chemical soap causes water pollution. As a result, the creatures living in the water end up dying.
The increase in vehicles on the road causes air pollution. It causes a spike in gases like CO2 and SO2 (greenhouse gases) that cause acid rain, which destroys buildings and monuments. Continuous honking on the roads by vehicles results in noise pollution. Pollution does not only affect the environment but also harms us. It affects our health and causes various cardiac and respiratory diseases. If environmental pollution is not controlled, living on earth will become tougher, and finally, it will lead to the destruction of humankind.
Paragraph on Environment – 250 Words
Everything we are surrounded by, the trees, water, air, grass, furniture in our house, makes up the environment. It is the environment that makes it possible for us to live on earth. It keeps a strict balance between the elements present on earth. However, lately, the balance is being disrupted. Natural resources are diminishing, mainly due to the misuse and greed of human beings. One of the basic requirements of the earth is keeping the environment clean.
Not only are we failing to maintain that, but the environment’s condition is also becoming worse day by day. The pollution caused by human beings has an adverse effect on the environment. Pollution not only harms the environment but also affects us. Specific measures need to be taken to curb the toxicity caused to the environment. Plastics and papers need to be recycled and reused. More trees should be planted for purifying the air.
People should carpool together instead of travelling in private cars. A fine should be issued for people who litter the streets with garbage. If these measures are not taken, the earth will gradually become unfit for living. A clean and proper environment is needed for all living creatures’ existence. With the increase of environmental depletion, the government has also started taking things seriously. However, it is not enough; without the people’s co-operation, nature will continue on its path of degradation, and someday we will be wiped from existence.
