Short Paragraph on Rainy Day – 100 Words
Rainy days feel like the earth is taking a break from the constant sunny and dry weather. A Rainy day is when it rains the majority of the day, and everything is drenched in water. Often on a rainy day, I get to stay home from school due to powerful currents. Many people call it ‘bad weather’, but to me, a rainy day is really refreshing. Sometimes when my parents are not watching, I get out of my house and get wet in the rain. The droplets of rainwater on my face rejuvenate me. When it rains hard, I make paper boats and float on the water that accumulates in from my home. Sometimes I even write my name on the boats, hoping someone will pick it up before the paper gets all wet. It is enjoyable when my friends and I play in the rain together and jump on puddles and splash each other with puddle water. After I come back home, my mother gives me hot milk, and I stare out of the window. I love the way the soil smells after it rains, and I often wonder if rain is God crying and letting us know that he is upset.
Long Paragraph on Rainy Day – 250 Words
It feels great when we’re busy with our daily schedules, and suddenly a cold breeze hits us. We look outside-the clouds are all grey, the leaves are all rustling due to the cold wind, and that’s when we know that it’s about to rain. Rainy days mainly occur during the rainy season, but they are not unseen in winter or spring. As surprised as we might be when it starts raining all of a sudden, the breeze during rainy days is undoubtedly a breath of fresh air. The entire region is soaked in water, and a few of us are unfortunate enough to be outside our homes without an umbrella.
It can’t be denied that rainy days hinder workers, students, and people who need to travel for various reasons. Rainy days create potholes, fill the streets with mud and puddle water, which are not pleasant. Nonetheless, rainy days give a pleasant feeling to people who like rain- children and adults alike. Children love playing in the shower, stomping their feet on the increasing water height that accumulates on the streets. Adults like sitting next to the window, sipping tea or coffee, enjoying the cold weather the rain brings.
A Rainy day is a blessing to farmers as it helps yield crops and people living in dry and hot regions. Even though many people feel gloomy and blue when it rains, rainy days work as an inspiration for writers and help develop creative ideas. Rainy days are not a joyous occurrence for people who live on the streets as they don’t have a proper shelter and often fall prey to many diseases. Rainy day also hinder studies and examinations, which students are often late to or miss due to the rain. So, just like most other things, rain also has its up and downsides. Whether rain is beautiful or ugly depends on the way people see it.
