The admission form is available on the aissee.nta.nic.in. Students can follow the given steps to apply:
- Register by visiting the aissee.nta.nic. In website and click on “New Registration” & fill the application form carefully.
- Choose Sainik School Purulia & opt three other Sainik schools from the list. Proceed to save and note down the login credentials.
- Login with the credentials and upload copies of photograph & signature.
- Submit the requisite Fee online.
- Upload the given documents in the PNG, JPEG, JPG and PDF format:
- Birth Certificate
- School Leaving Certificate
- Passing mark sheet of the previous class
- Domicile Certificate
- Affidavit

NTA prescribes the syllabus for 6th & 9th class for the entrance exam.
For Class 6th
- Maths: Topics such as Natural numbers, LCM & HCF, Unitary method, fractions, circle, ratio and proportion, profit and loss, types of circle and much more.
- English: Comprehension Passage, preposition, article, vocabulary, verbs and type, confusing words, question tags, types of sentence etc.
- G.K: Different types of scientific devices used in daily life, historical monuments, icons and symbols of India, Major religions of India, Art and culture, Defence and etc.
- Intelligence: Analogies (mathematical & verbal), Pattern (spatial and mathematical), Classification. Visual, logical, reasoning etc.
- Hindi: Samas, kriya, kal, Ling bathalna etc.
For Class 9th
Candidates must refer class 8th NCERT books to prepare.
- Maths: Rational numbers, average, median and mode, Linear equations in one variable, understanding quadrilaterals, pie chart etc.
- English: Spotting errors, Comprehension Passage, Antonyms, Synonyms, Prepositions, Sentence Improvement, Phrases and Clauses, Articles, Tense form etc.
- Science: Fossil fuels, Combustion and Flame, Cell structure and function, Reproduction in Plants and Animals, Sound and its basics etc.
- Social Science: Revolt of 1857, Freedom fighters, Important Freedom movements, Social and caste reforms, Pressure and Wind systems, Importance of Parliament etc.

Sainik School Purulia 2021 Admit Card
NTA will publish the admit card via online in the second week of January 2021. Candidates can download the Sainik School admit card by logging in with credentials. Admit card for the medical test will be sent to students via post. Candidates must bring admit card at the time of examination without which they won’t be permitted.
