Hello everyone. Today I am going to deliver a speech on health. It has been quoted that “It is health that is real wealth not pieces of gold or silver”. Health is the most crucial aspect of human life. It refers to the state of body & mind, which is free of any disease & ailments. Our health is something which gives us peace & happiness. Health is something which can’t be bought from money. It is our effort & care, which can keep us healthy.
Now let me highlight you how important is health. When we are healthy & fit, we enjoy our life to the fullest. We can enjoy working, talking, laughing & spending time with our near and dear ones. However, when our health is not at best, we are unable to enjoy anything. Even we can’t get proper sleep sometimes. It makes our energy level down & our mood remains off. How to be healthy? It’s a question which keeps hovering in our minds. Today I will share a few very basic things which we must do in our daily life to keep our body & mind in a healthy state.
First of all, taking care of sanitation, cleanliness & hygiene around us very important. Following a healthy diet which must include green vegetables, pulses, eggs, milk etc. is must. We must avoid having meat & artificial sweetened drinks. We must maintain a healthy sleep cycle by sleeping on time & waking up early morning. Every day at least 30 minutes of physical activity is vital for our lifestyle. Walking, running, playing outdoor sports or doing yoga any of these can be done.
It helps in the elimination of toxins & wastes from our body. Regular exercise of mind can be done by reading, writing & learning new things. It fills us with positivity & liveliness. Idle brains leads to dullness & lethargy so we must keep ourselves busy in our passions like photography, art, dance, music & many more. The lifestyle we are adopting today by day is creating a lot of hurdles to maintain fitness. So we all need to pay attention to how we can balance things in our day to day life.
Eating junk foods adds extra calorie, which is dangerous for our health. As our work mostly includes system works without any physical activity, it makes us lazy. We also prefer to play online video games instead of playing outdoor sports. Our lives is revolving about so many things & keeps us so much busy that we are not paying much attention to our health. It will not cost us anything to look after our health; it will keep us active & happy. So we all must take care of our health as the top priority of our life.
We can only be happy & perform best when we are healthy. Rushing after money & social status will not land us anywhere. We all must try to balance out everything in life & give importance to health. We all need to devote “me time” for our physical & mental well being. I want to conclude my speech with a quote.
