Symbiosis SET 2021: The Symbiosis International University conducts a university level examination every year called SET. SET is conducted for enrolling students into various UG programs based on the entrance test outcome. Symbiosis University conducts SET, SLAT entrance exam for Law, SEED exam for Design, SITEEE for engineering programs, etc. This article gives detail information about Symbiosis Entrance Test 2021 that includes exam dates, application form, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, admit card, result and more.

The following section provides complete information about SET 2021

• Registrations will begin from last week of January 2021, and application submission is through online mode only.
• The application consists of various sections like educational details, personal information and communication details.
• Candidates must upload their recent passport size photo and signature in a prescribed format.
• Application correction facility after submission is not permitted. All entries in the form must be accurate.
• All applications should be submitted by the fourth week of April 2021.

Application Fee

The requisite application fee can be remitted in both online and offline modes.

• For attempting one test, candidates need to remit INR 1750, and for taking two tests, INR 3500 is to be paid.
• Online payment can be processed through bill desk payment gateway, Indian bank payment gateway and ease buzz payment gateway.
• Offline payment can be made through DD drawn in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariats” from any nationalised bank, payable at Pune. Symbiosis SET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must go through these eligibility conditions carefully before applying:

• All Indian citizens, NRIs, PIO and OCI candidates can apply.
• For B.Tech – Candidates must have passed 10+2/ equivalent exam with a minimum 45% from a recognised board. For reserved classes, the minimum 5 in the qualifying exam is 40%. Candidates must have passed class 12th with compulsory English exam. Candidates attempting their class 12th exam this year may also apply.
• For BBA – Candidates who have passed class 12th or 3 years diploma from a recognised university/ board are eligible to apply. The minimum criteria are 45% marks for unreserved categories. For reserved classes, the minimum 5 in the qualifying exam is 40%. Candidates attempting their class 12th exam this year may also apply.

Symbiosis SET 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates should understand the exam pattern thoroughly, which will help them in good preparation:

• The exam shall be conducted in the online mode.
• There are four sections in the paper – SET/SLAT/SEED and SITEEE.
• Only MCQs will appear in the paper.
• Exam duration is two and a half hours.
• For every correct answer, a candidate earns 1 mark [SET/ SLAT/SEED sections] and 2 marks in SITEEE section.
• No negative marking for wrong answers.

Symbiosis SET 2021 Syllabus

The SET syllabus covers a whole range of subjects. The complete syllabus can be downloaded in the online mode. Candidates can mainly focus on their 12th syllabus and diploma level materials for optimum preparation. B.Tech aspirants can read through PCM syllabus right from the fundamentals to develop good confidence. Law aspirants can prepare reasoning, general knowledge, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension and legal reasoning sections.

Candidates must prepare well for SET using these tips:

• Prepare a strategic time table and follow a regular study routine.
• Strictly follow the exam pattern and syllabus as per exam norms.
• Keep track of the marking scheme in the exam and do not lose scores in negative marking.
• Prepare short, crisp notes that will help you do revision easily.
• Start preparation early and do not postpone studies to the last minute.
• Read a newspaper every day and keep yourself updated with current affairs.
• Attempt mock tests and solve previous year question papers without fail.

Symbiosis SET 2021 Admit Card

In the fourth week of April 2021, the admit cards can be downloaded in the online mode. Candidates should follow all instructions given behind the admit card. Paste your recent passport size photo on the admit card. Those candidates who are attending exams in both morning and afternoon session should compulsorily get two admit cards. Bringing electronic devices like mobiles, calculators and other goods are not entertained within the exam hall. Along with the admit card, candidates should get a photo ID proof like driving license, passport etc. to the exam hall. Take a print out of the admit card and sort out discrepancies if any.

Symbiosis SET 2021 Result

Results shall be available in the online mode in the second week of May 2021. Candidates can login to the website and download scorecards using user ID and password. The authorities shall not send the scorecard individually to the candidate. A print out of the document needs to be taken by the candidate himself.

Symbiosis SET 2021 Cut off

After result announcement, cut off scores shall be published in the online mode. SET cut off marks are the minimum eligible marks a candidate should score in order to seek admission into courses of their choice. Cut off range depends on exam difficulty level, number of candidates attempting the exam, seat availability etc. Candidates who have scored cut off marks shall be shortlisted for further admission process.

Symbiosis SET 2021 Admission

Admission is a long process and basically depends on SET scores. It continues with group discussion rounds, personal interview rounds, written tests etc. No centralized admission process is set for admissions. Candidates have to take a call about participating in individual institutes. For verification, original documents need to be produced. Seat allocation shall be done after all rounds of admission are completed.
