TANCET 2023 Exam Pattern is composed of the syllabus, marking scheme, question type, no. of questions, duration of exam, etc. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test referred to as TANCET, is administered by Anna University, Chennai. This state-level entrance exam is directed on behalf of Tamil Nadu’s Government to provide the admission for candidates into M.Tech/M.E./ M. Plan/ M.Arch/ MBA/ MCA/ and lateral entry into MCA programme. TANCET Exam Pattern 2023
Anna University has released the exam pattern in the information brochure provision on its official website. Candidates can view the exam pattern via online mode. The admission seeking candidates in the engineering institutions of Tamil Nadu must qualify in the entrance exam directed by the university. Using TANCET 2023 exam pattern, appearing candidates can get the syllabus, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. TANCET 2023 Hall Ticket shall be made accessible from second week of March 2023 via online mode on the website. Candidates are also expected to show the hall ticket on the examination day to the exam authority, and it must also be brought for the admission process.
TANCET 2023 Exam Pattern

- The entrance test shall be supervised via offline mode, i.e. pen paper-based mode.
- The exam is planned to be organized on 20th & 21st March 2021.
- 2 hours shall be provided to solve the question paper.
- The question paper medium is available in the English language.
- The test paper comprises of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- 1 mark is allocated for every question.
- 1/3 marks shall be reduced for every wrong answer.
- For ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M. Plan programmes, PART I & Part II must be mandatorily attended. PART III contains questions from the stream chosen by the candidates during the registration process.
